Why Is It So Difficult?
In a conversation with a friend, I was taken back by a statement that was shared. The statement was, “I am having a difficult
time explaining the birth of Jesus to my child.” I asked, “Why?” Here is what I finally stated...
I am amazed that we find it easy to teach our children:
•
Cat and a Fiddle and a Cow jumping over the Moon
•
Peter put his wife in a Pumpkin Shell
•
A Rabbit delivering colored eggs
•
A jolly man with flying reindeer and delivering mountain of toys all over the world in one night
These are things that we taught our children when they were younger without thinking about how to explain them. Yet, we
find it difficult to teach them about Christ. To me, this is simple, you teach them how to believe. I know that this does not
sound like a simple matter, but I explain how God works Miracles in His own way and His own time. We may not understand
and find it difficult for us to explain, but God.
This is my simple mind at work, but if we begin teaching about Christ when they are small, their acceptance when they are
older is an easy transition. There are a load of things in the scriptures that are unexplainable, yet because we choose to believe
ti makes it sensible. So, I can say, to mine, I can’t explain Him but I trust Him. I can say that God has never failed me and He
has done things in my life that I can’t explain. He’s opened doors and made ways out of know way! He HAS DONE GREAT
THINGS!!!!!
I got happy, I am sorry!
